Full Conference Delegates and their Accompanying Persons will have a ticket to the Welcome Reception, Conference Dinner and Gala Dinner included in the cost of their package.
Full Delegates will be asked to indicate whether or not they intent to attend these functions when they register and Day Delegates will be asked if they would like to purchase tickets to these events.
Some other social events, such as entry to the Adelaide Zoo (and panda exhibit) and the Tuesday Night Optional Dinners, are an additional cost to the delegate. All delegates will be invited to purchase an Optional Dinner and asked if they intend to visit the Panda Exhibit whilst at the Zoo. We have booked a 3.45pm viewing of the Pandas at a negotiated discounted rate. It would assist the Zoo if you would indicate your intention to attend. Bring your registration confirmation to the front entrance of the Zoo to receive the discount.

The Welcome Reception will be held at the Sanctuary Conference
Centre which overlooks the exceptional Botanic Park and
the beautiful Adelaide Zoo. The newly built conference centre
is the perfect spot to welcome guests.
In Addition –
Why not visit Adelaide Zoo earlier in the day? The Parks
and Leisure National Conference has negotiated discounted
entrance tickets to the Adelaide Zoo. Delegates and family
members wishing to visit the Zoo as well as its new additions
- Wang Wang and Funi - need to mention the PLA National
Conference to receive the discounted rate.
