Delegates will be responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Melbourne and to and from the Conference Venue.

There is a Shuttle bus (Sky Bus) from Melbourne Airport for $15 per person one way or $25 return. It leaves every 15 minutes from the airport and Southern Cross Station in CBD. Arrangements may be possible to be dropped off at your hotel. Virgin Blue may also have a special deal with Sky Bus. It should be possible to walk to your hotel or the Conference Venue from Southern Cross Station.

Avalon Airport is an option to fly into, although it is 55 km away from CBD towards Geelong and can take over 45 minutes to reach the city (more in peak hour). Sunbus shuttle service links the airport with Southern Cross Station.

Taxis
Taxis are available from the airport and around the city. Taxi average cost is $30 (Australian dollars).

Trams
Tickets can be purchased on trams if you have the correct coins. If you do not have the coins, you can buy a ticket from Southern Cross Station or some local shops. The ticket must be validated when you travel. The city area is Zone 1. Zone 2 is for areas approximately 10 km outside the CBD.

There is a free city Circle Tram which circumnavigates the CBD at 12 minute intervals and travels through Docklands and Flinders Street. No. 96, 109, 112 Trams travel past the Venue on Clarendon Street Southbank.
• Route 96 - St Kilda to East Brunswick
• Route 109 - Port Melbourne to Box Hill
• Route 112 - West Preston to St Kilda

Trains
The closest train station is Southern Cross and it is a short walk down to the conference venue. Flinders Station is further away and can be walked along Southbank or a tram along Flinders Street to Spencer Street and walk across the bridge to the conference venue.

Walking
Walking is great in Melbourne. The Conference Venue is on Southbank (beside the Yarra River) and offers an enjoyable walking experience past restaurants and shops.

Cycling
Cycling is very popular in Melbourne. There are cycle paths everywhere. Contact www.bv.com.au for more information. The Melbourne Cycling Festival is on during October.
